Lighting Designer
Paul Whitaker's experience is diverse, with Architectural Lighting Design, Theatre Planning and Theatre Lighting Design experience. Paul was a Theatre Planner and Lighting Designer for Schuler Shook from 1997 to 1999 and has recently rejoined Schuler Shook. Paul's significant theatrical design experience includes lighting designs at such notable companies as The Public Theater, Playwrights Horizons, Second Stage, MCC, the Long Wharf Theater, The Huntington Theater, The Yale Rep and many off-broadway and regional theaters. Paul has taught theatrical design at Amherst College and guest lectured at the Yale School of Drama. Paul's continued work as a theatrical lighting designer provides a first-hand understanding of performance space requirements and extensive knowledge of theatre production.
