Jefferey's curiosity about light and the human experience serves him well as a lighting designer experienced in both the art and science of light. His work experience in project management and design in New York, Los Angeles, and Denver has exposed him to a diversity of project types, including restaurants, luxury cruise ships, medical facilities, offices, roadways, daylighting and energy analysis studies. His project base is international, with well over 200 projects constructed in the United States, Europe, the Caribbean and the South Pacific. Jefferey enjoys the uniqueness of each project and strives to create lighting solutions that enhance the architecture while providing high functionality, low maintenance, and overall efficiency in the design.
In addition to his design work, Jefferey taught 'Basic Lighting Design' at the New York University School of Continuing Education and served as adjunct faculty at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. His ongoing research into the spectral characteristics of light includes both human visual system research and photo-biological interests. |
