Schuler Shook Lighting Designer Staff

Emily Klingensmith is a talented and creative designer with a thorough, detail-oriented design approach. This not only strengthens the quality of her lighting designs, but also ensures that budgets are accurate, luminaires are installed properly and projects are successful. Emily leads the office's efforts to improve documentation standards as part of her constant commitment to improving the quality of lighting design at Schuler Shook.

Emily is actively involved in the lighting community – from lecturing at conferences to her involvement in the IALD. In her ten years with Schuler Shook, she has designed lighting systems for more than 100 projects, including aquariums, exhibits, building facades, houses of worship, offices and restaurants. Several of these projects have won IALD, IIDA and G.E. lighting awards.
